Ingredients
- 1 mashed banana
- 2 cups rolled oats
- ¾ cup buckwheat
- ¾ cup sunflower seeds
- ½ tsp cinammon
- ¼ cup nuts (eg. Walnuts, almonds, cashews)
- ¼ cup coconut oil (or your preferred oil, I usually use olive oil as I have it available)
- ¼ cup honey (or less, depending on how sweet you like it)
- ¼ teaspoon salt
-1 tsp vanilla
- ¼ cup raisins
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 150°C
2. Combine all the ingredients, excluding the raisins, in a big bowl
3. Prepare a baking tray by putting a sheet of parchment paper on top
4. Spread the granola mix onto the baking tray and put in the oven for 15 minutes
5. After 15 minutes take the baking tray out of the oven and mix it, then put it back into the oven for 15 minutes
6. I usually cook mind for 30 minutes (until golden) but you may want to leave it in for longer if you like it more toasted
7. When you take your granola out of the oven for the final time add the raisins, and any other fruit or coconut you might like in there (I add sweetened cranberries too) and mix it all together
8. Then leave the granola to cool, and enjoy!
